This high stakes player has prised himself away from the online world to grace us with his presence over here in Monte Carlo. If the Internet. goes slow, then he's probably out and back in his hotel room playing on Full Tilt. That shouldn't be just yet though, as he's trundling along okay at the moment with 34,775 in chips

are the god like hunks gus hanson and patrick antonious still in?
any pictures would go down well,4 the ladies
Hansen is a midget though, you'd never be able to wear your heels.
Say it ain't so!!! He doesn't look like it in pics next to tall guys like Lederer...
He stands on a chair for those pics.
Lederer is big in all directions, I think about 6'5, I may be wrong on Hansen, but I think he is 5'4 - 5'6. He is pocket sized
Really!?!?!?!?!?! This surprises and dismays me. (no offense to the tiny of you out there...) Snoop, can you give a confirm or deny on this all important point?
I'm sorry , but Gus would need to stand on a box to pat Tom Cruise on the head.
My goodness, that is indeed not very tall
You're saying he's standing on a chair here?
No, I'm saying Howard's kneeling in that one.

And finally, before I dip back into the never ending web of poker madness, this is your current chip leader, Barcelona EPT winner and recent Norwegian star, Bjorn Erik Glenne with 58,900.

I did search for the other requests, but they were on their dinner break.
I asked Simon 'SuffolkPunch' Young if Andy Black was still in, and he said yes, he's one of those middling stacks over there.
Precise chipcounts on blonde is one of our strong points.

As Snoopy said, howard is kneeling, its also a camera trick, Howard is actually 10 feet behind Hansen.

Ross looks so glum here, I think he knows he could never match the awesomeness of that 'tache.
I met this guy in the Bahamas, I've forgotten his name but he's a nice guy. He's an american of Greek origin and was a regular in the 10/20nl games at the WPT over there in Jan.

Thomas 'I AM VIGGO!!!' Fourgeron, who is very popular with the French press (although less so now) is OUT.
He mucked on the River, but I think he was in a spot of bother, his opponent holding Tens on a 4-4-x-x-T board.
On questioned why he took so long to reveal his hand, the pot winner said, "Well, he could have had Fours", which raised a giggle or two.

As Simon Young said earlier, Andy Black is indeed in, but he's got slightly more than a middling stack with a very useful 41,375. Could be a potential go deeper in this comp, which would be great for us onlookers as he's top entertainment, especially when supplied with alcohol.

Bad news for Scot fans, Rory Matthews is on life support with just 3,050. Long way to go yet though.

The bemused look on Gus Hansen's face is down to the fact that Juha Helppi is OUT. With the board reading
his opponent, (shown here on the left of Gus) pushed all-in on the river, covering Juha, who dwelt for absolute ages and called and was immediately shown
for the flopped nuts. Juha mucked his hand and briskly left the table. One of the other players wanted to see the cards and a ruling was called for, Juha's hand was shown as
, which really shocked everyone, especially Gus, who couldn't stop saying, "Wow.."
Is that geezer Celine dion's husband?
