Flushy has it on his lappy (Firefox)  - I hadn't used it before - it's very nice!

Hi Guys, Jen  will want her 'puter back in a moment, so I will  get back to you later this evenng on this, but.........

The Banner should NOT be there.

I have instructed that the banner be removed ovenight.

It's arrival was a complete shock to me, I knew nothing about it, let's say it was due to a misunderstanding by someone.

More, & full, news, later, as Jen needs her 'puter now.

But FFS, DO please trust me. There are one or two very quick conclusions beng jumped to about ths sites independence. Just hold up a few mo's guys. Miistakes happen.

Details later.

I have rung our peeps in England & asked that the Banner be removed from the forum, but it may not happen until the morning.

You could always try FireFox if you don't like ads etc. Coincidentally Paul Phillips posted a bit of a beginners guide to it in his blog today.

http://extempore.livejournal.com/

I am viewing this via mozilla firefox and have enabled "adblock" but I still get the banner

I don't use it myself (i have yet to get annoyed enough at ads; the latest ones with sound though are driving me close) so can't be 100% certain.

Have you imported some filters (as mentioned on paulp's blog)?

The only thing that I don't like about the advert is the constant flashing.

Wöw. LOVE the Tikay Poker one!

I intended to explain how this came about tonight, give you, as always, the whole story. But it's late, I'm seriously tirred, but worst of all, I am using an Austrian Keyboard, & the letters are in the wrong place! I mean, qwerty is actually qwertz.

So when I tzpe summat, it comes out wrong, especiallz if it has a z in it ß or a hzphen ß as in Mondaz or midßweek. Get mz drift, zet_ Oops, the question mark is in the wronng place, too.

Nightz nightz.
