This will come as a big shock to everyone, but Lucy has played a big pot early doors.

When I joined it on the River, the board read x-T-6-6-8 with Lucy's T-8 not quite good enough against Mateyboy's Aces.

After 11 minutes and 15 seconds, the first player from this year's Irish Open has been eliminated.

And it was a big name too in Carlos Mortensen, all-in with Aces versus Kings, the Spaniard's opponent rivered a flush with his , the board reading Two Clubs .

Ouch.

is padraig playing this year?

Yep - there were even rumours he'd get in our Media Tourney (seeing as he writes for Cardplayer - we protested on the grounds he was too good) but he looks like he's settled for the Main Event - just starting to comb the room (they've taken off the scrolling Draw List so anyone we haven't already noted is now lost in the giant tournament area)...

So far noted a couple more:

Nicolas Levi
Santi
Tim Flanders
Pippa Flanders
Niamh Peters
Tony Chessa
Andreas Hagen
Jeff Kimber
Mickey Wernick
Peter Eichhardt
Paul Jackson
Michael Greco
Mel Judah
Mats Iremark
Barney Boatman

Sharing a table are Karl Mahrenholz, Ali Mallu and Tim Flanders; two Dusk Till Dawners were drawn straight away on the TV table - Carlo Citrone and Richard Ashby. Pics coming.

I'll do my best. 708 players here today though, so even I know them it's a mission to find em. I'll give it a shot.

4 of the DTD players, Carlo Citrone and Richard Ashby somehow finding there way onto the final table. Nice score for the Dusk Till Dawn brand.

(1) Paul Zimbler
(2) Kevin O'Connell
(3) Michael Greco
(4) Paul Jackson

Cheeky chappy Sheringham.

The oldest player to score in the premiership, I believe. Also, the oldest player to score with that bird off Big Brother too.

This would be easy if we'd been supplied with a player list. Do you have photos of any of these, I think I can remember William from Monte Carlo, but not the other three.

I'll probe Liam Flood for a list of players.
