I got a voucher for a massage for christmas and just getting round to using it now. ive had several aromatherapy massages before and a hot stone massage which was good if not a little on the weak side.
what im wondering is whether i go for a swedish this time? has anyone got any experience of these and did you go back for seconds? always a good way to know if something is worth doing?
thanks in advance

I've got experience on Swedish massage, but only from the masseuse point of view. They can be extremely relaxing (I've had many people fall fast asleep with I'm giving the massage) and if you have problems in a certain area they can be very beneficial.
It totally depends what you are looking for really, and what you want to achieve.

Swedish you can ask for as light or deep as you want, it's your choice.

While a lighter one is more relaxing at the time the benefits of the deeper massage can be felt for far longer.

unless you want a very vigorous massage i would tend not to have the sports massage- good for pre/post sports though ( no suprise there eh?). Also if you are looking for relaxation i would consider an aromatherapy massage too.
