notts county aint the only team with this honour tho

Both Preston and Reading have the honour of being able to demand wearing home colours although both now have second shirts

I went to University in Nottingham.

I think it's a fabulous city. I lived in student digs in the Park and Lenton and go back as often as I can

All this applies to me too. Lived about 5 mins away from the Gala. Used to walk down Lenton Road at 3am after playing poker. Very dark, very scary.  Shocked

I used to walk down the Lenton road at 5am after visiting "friends"

but then I was 20 years old and it was, unfortunately a long time ago

Fantastic memories

Unfortunately just as I was posting my earlier message about Nottingham University today I learned that my best friend from then, who I lived with for two years, died today of skin cancer. He had only been diagnosed on the day Liverpool won the champions league, and I was visiting him at the weekend  Cry

Events sometime provide the most tragic coincidences
