I would just like to say a real big thank you to the APAt team, Tikay, Des and Tighty, for putting together yet another brilliant tournament for APAt members, this time in Edinburgh.  'Twas a great event, fine venue and location and the APAt team and Casino staff did a fine job of having things run very smoothly for us players, giving us such a fine opportunity to play a deepstack tourney like this. It was my first APAt event in which I played and, though very nervous, I really enjoyed myself and settled into it. I have to say that I am very pleased with my play and outcome and especially dealing with the speech play fired at me.  Now I have come home and am itching to play again!

It was great to meet up with "old" friends once more (Tikay, Des, Richard, Mel, Sheriff and Dewi), and wonderful to make new friends (Hazel and John, Steve and Margaret [first met at Newcastle but without exchanging names!], JayCBee1 [welcome to Blonde from Bainn and myself, thank you for your kind words, and it was interesting to be on the eventual winner's table for most of the first day, was it not?!  We three were the surviving members of the original line-up on that table, before we were moved!] and Glenn, [glad my chips helped!] and Philip who took me out but was a real gentleman about it!), and especially put faces to names on the fora and get to know people better! So glad to meet you all especially,  Digger (thank you for your kind words, but beware, next time...! Bet you are quaking in your boots now...!), ThinkerJE, mickyp, Foggy and Jean (sorry I missed you to say goodbye), DanDan (good to actually chat and trust you will be able to make a future BB!), Compo, Kinboshi and Michelle, JJandellis, Geo the Sarge and Glorious. If I have forgotten anyone, or got their name wrong, I do apologise.

It was great to meet Eck and watch this guy play so very well in only his 2nd live game.  What a player and what a real good guy - Bainn and I thorougholy enjoyed meeting you and look forward to seeing you again and meeting Debbie soon at BB4.

Also, what a family the Blonde forum is... I am thrilled and proud to be a part of it all.

I have to say that I had the most amazing SNG on Sunday night -  a real madcap, interesting and fun game!  Rounded a wonderful w/e off very well! Thank you folks!

I would also just like to thank those who railed from afar, in particular our good friends, Brendan, and Kevin and Karen, and all those folk who know they have given me much encouragement and support - in particular Bainn - could not do it without you and so glad you introduced me to poker and the Blonde forum.  Proud of your play too and your promise re: not playing the infamous hand - but so sorry it would have come good this time...grrr!  That's poker, isn't it!  Thanks for a brilliant w/e!

Look forward to seeing you all at BB4.  Take care.

i will let you off this time, you was suited and booted

i could have introduced you to Mrs Nosey-p

she will not be going to Dublin so i will be of the lead

Yes, it was suit & proper suit & shirt job, for the Cameras. Then back to the venue, change into APAT shirt, then change back again for the "wrap-up"...... Not the best of days for me to be doing the quick-change artist thing.

Next time, I'll be back to normal, & will tell you a train story. You can see the trains coming & going out of Edinburgh Waverley from the Castle, that's pretty cool. I tried to coincide an Interview with a train soundng it's klaxon, but we could not manage it. How sexy would that have been? I could have said "and that's the 12.17 Edinburgh-Kings Cross GNER, stopping at......."

Did you know that.......hello - HELLO - is anyone there?

Sorry, I have messed up the quotes!

Sounds like you are feeling a little bit better.......that's good......you take care, Tikay.  You did a grand job at the w/e considering you were not 100%.

geo.

Thanks very much. LOL re: the sig!

Forgot to say that we had a lovely drive back home in beautiful weather and I have quite fallen in love with the immediate surroundings we saw in the locale of Edinburgh.  Although I was nervous I also know the w/e did us both the world of good and I have come back home tired and yet refreshed from a real good w/e away!  Cheers, APAt and cheers, Blonde.
