Bonds' stats for season:

on-base percentage .519
slugging percentage .828, (both tops in the National League).
2nd in Homers

Oh, and his batting average is .362.

Smiley Pity we lost last 3 Sad

The Cubs are about .500 now, not to bad, they need the star players to get going, I think the bullpen is the week link but I guess we will see!

My magic  Mariners are still hanging in there 5 games back from the Angels, but currently on a 6 game winning streak  Shocked

Chance of a wildcard this season if we keep our form going

Please just get 756 so we can finally get rid and start the rebuilding process  dont river me

dont know why everyone is getting all hyper about it - if Alexander Enmanuel Rodriguez stays fit he'll beat the record within the next 5-7 years

Got to agree with you there sir  thumbs up

Although Bonds has equalled the record, the "suspicion of  drug use"  cloud hanging over him, i think,  detracts from his feat.
Anyway are the Giants still hanging about at the bottom of their division ?

Not in with a chance of the wildcard/division title ??

Didn't think so

I was going to post and say that seeing as how it was your birthday i would allow one day where i didnt retort with abuse............

but then i noticed that you actually posted it at 1am this morning - so

Darn - was going to use the "GFY" Smiley til i found that Kyboshi has changed it to a "Matt has no life" smiley.

I'm going back to bed in my treehouse - its going to be one of those days Sad
