Keep an eye on Duthie. but if he asks you to get him a coffee, DON'T. he played that trick on me at WSOP last year. He BEGGED me to go to starbucks (which was at least 15 miles away) and by the time i got back he was OUT.

With 479 players starting day two at the same time, we've got the Tournament Area Split again - probably just over half here in the Fontana Bar, and the other half must surely have now taken over every inch of the 'regular' cash game room.  If you haven't already done so, please let us know if there are any people you want especially followed, so we can divide the sprawl of tables into coverable chunks.  I hope.

Seeing as there's still a quarter of an hour til kickoff, here's a picture of Snoopy eating breakfast:

Well, we're here, some of the media members (including Jen) have been struggling with the wireless, so fingers crossed that we're rocking and rolling soon. It's sure going to be a tough one, 479 starters today spread across two rooms (the second room is across the other side of the casino and quite a trek), so it's going to be hectic, but we'll do our very best to keep you up to date on the goings on of Day 2 of this $25,000 WPT Championship Final.

The Bellagio itself is a splendid casino and it's not surprising that it attracts all the top players, whether the comp's being staged here or not. The grandeur is really a sight to behold and if you are ever fortunate enough to pay Vegas and the Bellagio a visit, be sure to wander into the garden where you'll see the following sights...

Michael Greco's response to learning that he was sandwiched in between Johnny Chan and Todd Brunson?

It shouldn't take you to long to work out which effort is Jen's...

The players are filtering in now, and they're immediately racing off the greens, as the blinds must be going up to 400/800 ante 100...?  That's my guess.  The screens are currently displaying just the number of runners and the seconds until kick-off.

What we do have (although I'll say it's provisional as there's an asterisk on the top prize) is the Prize Structure:

1st   $3,970,415*
2nd  $2,011,135
3rd   $1,082,920
4th    $696,220
5th    $464,110
6th    $309,405
7th    $278,465
8th    $247,525
9th    $216,585
10th   $185,645
11th-15th   $154,705
16th-20th   $123,760
21st-30th    $92,820
31st-40th    $77,350
41st-50th    $61,880
51st-100th  $46,410

You'd think they'd round it up to 4.

Play about to start here, so brace yourselves.
