Todd Brunson is OUT.

His button raise with Queens was smooth called by the small blind who had Aces. A check-raise and call later and Comic Book Guy was sent back to the store.

The assassin?

Here's a clue...

Duff duff duff duff duff.

Another table looks like this:

Eric Koskas
Peter Neff
Sean McCabe
Fred David
Daniel Alaei
Doyle Brunson (white hat cowboy, picture one)
Juha Helppi (looking about as impressed by sitting next to Brunson Sr. as he looks at most things, pic. 2)

Scouring the room, it looks like Stuart Fox's table is today's Table of Certain Deaaaaaaath' with two dogged neighbours in Scott Fischman and Eli Elezra.

And if you think that's enough, then the next three seats are this motley crew: Abel Meijberg, Josh Arieh and Mike Graz.

Piece of cake!

Here's veteran Scandie Thor Hansen, looking rather meek in these early stages, and not surprising either as he's only got 11,500 with the blinds at 400 and 800.

Could you please report on how the two norwegians Johnny Lodden(table 47) and Kristian Kjondal(table 20) is doing?

Great job again!

Martin Wendt eliminates Doa Kim Bac and takes a little chunk from Steve Zoine after some fairly heavy preflop action...wish I could say who raised and who re-raised, but that would be pure guesswork as it was only when I saw Martin chuck in three blue 10k chips on the flop that I started paying attention...

With the blinds 400/800 there was around 50k in the pot as three players looked at the two spades flop.  Steve Zoine and Doa Kim Bac were both shorter stacks than Wendt, who proceeded to bet out 30k from the small blind, which put the call-all-in decision on his opponents.  A heavy consider from the former short stack, before a pass, while Bac looked so short he now had little choice but to call and fllip .
Martin Wendt showed
The turn and river:    and he wins a tidy pot while Zoine breathes a sigh of relief that his laydown was, apparently, correct.

Here's the LittleMissC stalked Gus Hansen seated next to the since departed Harry Dermetriou.

The Great Dane has 88,500 in chips.

Hello!  Thought you guys might be here - there's still space in the press three square feet if you sit under the table...

Anyway, here's a pic of Kjondal next to Flaminio Malaguti and then Barney Boatman.  As you can see he's still pretty short after starting the day at the very bottom of the chip rankings.  About to go back to rescout Room #2 - I would guess you should be expecting an empty chair or a doubled-up stack...

Jan Sjavik takes a pot off Lars Bonding, raising his bet out of 4,600 on a flop to 11,500.  Pictured here inscrutably contemplating the chips he's just about to push his opponent off with...

Just a quick note - we're in horrible indecision over the internet, which is intermittent at best, but much faster, when working, than our cards.  We have one frustrated beagle, and next door a depressed Frenchman, while I am just focusing on the break in 10 minutes when I will be heading to the ice-cream/patisserie stand.  Please bear with us regarding requests, as the ability to post our recently-discovered facts is touch-and-go.

On a happier note: I don't think I've posted the picture of the chocolate fountain yet today:
