Hi everyone

I am pretty new to the poker boom

Have been playing fun tables but was wondering with all these bonuses around if there were any sites that say gave 5/10 dollars away for nothing. Just wanna see if play changes when money is involved, and ideally dont want to do it with my own money until a bit more experienced

Welcom to the site smithy.

Most site won't give you any freebies unless you deposit a minimum amount, say $20. And even then, you may have to play a certain amount of hands be4 you get some free dosh. It really depends on the site. I've played on the same one an age now so I'm probably not the best person to answer this question.

I can say, however, that playing for real money will change the game. In play money, you often get people going in with nowt as they have nothing to lose. They often call a lot and chase flushes, str8s etc as it won't cost them any real money if it goes pear shaped. Although this still occurs with real money, probably not to the same extent.

Hope that goes some way to answering your poser.

Some people on RGP do offer to stake a small amount to people to sign up for sites like Party Poker.

I've never bothered investigating it in any detail, but I'm presuming they are affiliates, as they might be able to get say a $50 bonus when you sign up and play, so it's in their interests to stake you $10 to sign up through their link.

Worth a look, but tread carefully.

Just a series of banner headlines. Huh?

I've no affiliation with BW, but their Bonus whoring 101 does provide more than ads.

Not sure why you deleted my post. A bit OTT Angry
