any news on Mikael thuritz....it said on Carplayer he had 550k

Mikael Thuritz (known as Henry Michael Thuritz on the official player list) has a rather uncountable stack of chips, so I simply asked him how many he thought he had to which he replied, "Around 650 or 640k."

My professional opinion is that's rather a lot.

how is the "Haslaminator" doing, is he still in?

Yes, but short - just all in uncalled on the small blind for less than 40k..eek.

Jared Hamby just raised his big blind to 11k (blinds 2k/4k) and he called along with the small blind.  The flop was checked round, and the turn, but on the river the small blind bet out 14k, got a quick raise from Hamby to 30k and folded swiftly.  Although that wasn't the biggest hand of the tournament, getting involved was pricey for Pete - he may be moving in again at some point soon.

There's a bit of an unscheduled break going on here... "A discrepancy we need to check out," is the only response from the TD as everybody gets up and starts milling around while the clock is frozen on 47:09.  Intriguing...

Apparantly due to "a dispute at table 60 as to the amount paid to a player in an all in hand.  Security is reviewing the tape, a ruling will be made and play will resume."

What table you hiding under?

No sign of Abel Meijberg I'm afraid. Unless he's in the loo, he's out.

Meanwhile, I did spot Marc Goodwin, he's still hovering around that 170-190k mark. He's dressed like a right player today, just needs the stick, hat and a whore on each arm and he'd be the Brummie Pimp.

Finally, for any Scandinavian fans watching, Rehne Pedersen is still in, but only just, with 61,500.

You're going to have to get past David Benyamine if you want to get your grubby mitts on this lass.

And he's gone - one Pete Haslam, not in seat (honestly, you turn your back for one minute...) Sorry to disappoint, but to distract you from his exit, here are some pictures of the surviving denizens of his table, featuring:

Isabelle Mercier
Jared Hamby (on one of the rare occasions you can see even one eye)
Anna Wroblewski  (looking like she might have just come from a wedding, or Windsor garden party)
Johan Storakers and Barny Boatman

And now for one of my favourite ever photos...

Mark Teltscher getting the drinks from the rail.

Floppy, AlrightJack, Benjo and Flushy in particular will appreciate this one.
