I told the whole "apothecary" story on Sky Poker last night (or was it Friday, I can't recall), and I'm delighted you have signed up to blonde at last.

And no, she is NOT a Scot, though she has lived up there for best part of 20 years. Story to follow in my next Post!

All being well, you will see Terry on Sky Poker, as a Poker Guest, very soon, we were actually discussng this in the Sky Offices yesterday.

thankyou for such a warm welcome, and tikay I am so pleased to hear from you, if i wasn't getting married you could add me to your list of potential mrs tikay's but i think Colin might have something to say about that..   at least before the honeymoon anyway..
i did see the show (it was sunday night)  and monday night. Colin thinks i'm becoming a tikay groupie..lol

On Sky Poker, we run a little comp every night for interestingly named players, & "apothecary" was one I picked out a few times. It was easily noticed, as this player seemed to be making a lot of Final Tables.

Anyway, I was up in Scotland for the APAT Event, not feeling so hot & so keeping a fairly low profile, when a young lady introduced herself to me. "You are tikay - right? - from Sky Poker, I'm apothecary".

So we chatted for a while, & what a story she had to tell!

A Londoner, she went to Scotland for a long weekend nearly 20 years ago, met a fella, & never came home. The thing with the fella went wrong a few years later, & he buggered off, leaving her with £72,000 of debts. She had the family home still, so she converted it into a B & B - in Falkirk I seem to recall - and spent the next 15 years paying down those inherited debts.

Eventually she got square, & when Sky Poker began, she started playing it regularly. She was a natural, & soon racked up winnings of £3,800.

So her & her fiance decided to get married this August, & they are spending the £3,800 on a Honeymoon Cruise!

Sky Poker hope to have Terry on the show very soon.

Perhaps we can also invite Terry to play in a few of our blonde Comps, they are great fun, community poker, & I know she'd have a ball. Claw, sort it out please!
