Come on Hellmuth!! A real nice guy

So thats what a nice guy does??? I would love to know what snoops and Jen think of this guy?

Snoops, would you take the abuse from him if you were playing at a table and he went off on you?
Jen, what would you do it he called you a worthless piece of xxxx for the way you played a hand?

I don't know him well enough to make such a judgment, but what I can say is that from observing him at the table, he does come across as a right plum who everyone seems to take delight in laughing at. If I were on the receiving end of one of his abusive rants, I wouldn't be bothered in the slightest. In fact, I'd be rather entertained and somewhat pleased that I'd led him into such a blind fury. Then again, that's just me, I don't get too angry about things like that, just shrug my shoulders and focus on my game, as many of his opponents have done this week.

I was talking to Snoopy about how I rate understated players who just get on with it and win from sheer talent without drawing a neon arrow over their heads more highly than their showoff counterparts.  He made a good point - from an audience/press point of view - who's more fun to watch for 8 hours a day?  When there's a lull in the action, you can trust players like Hellmuth to say something reportable, or get upset, showing a reaction you can write about.

As far as the game purely, there's no doubt that behaving like a tit in order to tilt your opponents is not a classy way to play, but there is also no doubt that some of the players renowned for their rubdowns and general attention-seeking shoutiness are among the best around (see: Hellmuth, Tony G).  If I were on the receiving end of this, I wouldn't like it, but I wouldn't cry myself to sleep either.

No exits as of yet, but we have seen signs of action, one hand seen Adeeb Harb to raise it up under the gun to 32k, Roland make it 90k more and Fischman to shove in around 250k.

Both players folded insantly, especially Roland who showed his Jacks face-up.

River =

Pham checks, Mosseri bets, Pham folds.

Cagey start.
