How about having a "long weekend" away (ie out of the uk)

Im sure Paul Zimbler could suggest a few places to hold the event?

Costs involved in travelling would not be much more (if any) than travelling to an event in the UK

Just a suggestion

Ireland might be a nice place for the next one.

I'd be happy to help with the organising.  The drink side of it is definitely an issue, but yer a smart lot...surely between us we can come up with a way around that part.

Nope, Poker & booze are not allowed to mix in Dublin. There's a pub next door, I'm told.

nope, its soft drinks/brews only ....  but there is a couple of pubs just up the road which makes for a great laugh at the breaks when everyone legs it up there with a ciggy on ..cos ya cant smoke in there either Smiley

But I will guarantee you something .... you wont have ever visited a friendlier card room ever...atmosphere and the lads there are 1st class.

Sporting emporium would be perfect, nice poker room but bar could be a bit small.

The Sporting Emporium = Stunning.

But taking the fingerprints (as they do of eveyone who enters) of a few of the blondes might be worrying, given their shady past.....
