This was the third poker book i ever read, I have to say it was an easy buy after his first book "The Real Deal".

Ok knowing that it was the third book i ever read is not a great advert i know, but this is a great book for the midlevel player as tighty says. I find the way that Phil Gordon simplifies in particular Sklansky refreshing as Sklansky is a tough read, it can only be done in small doses IMHO.

great review Tighty, have you got "the Little Blue Book" yet?

He stole it from a golf pro who wrote "a little (insert colour)book of golf"

I really like this book, and IMO the green book is better than the blue one. The fact that it's broken down into many small vingettes make it extremely easy to read, it's what i'd call the perfect 'toilet book'.
