I'm in too - looking forward to it a lot.

Now, should I catch the ferry on Friday evening or risk it being on time on Saturday morning to save on the hotel costs?Huh??

p.s. if anyone goes over on Friday night and you haven't been to Dublin before, I recommend the Sporting Emporium (Anne Street I think). It was a 25 euro buy in event in superb surroundings. I think it started around 9pm. And don't forget the smoking ban is already in place - the card room was on the 2nd floor.......

As mentioned earlier... we've booked the Parliament Hotel - http://www.regencyhotels.com/hotels/content.asp?PageID=39

€125 (euros) / night for a single room with breakfast. It is a little over a mile from the casino and right on the edge of the Temple Bar area.

A few of us are staying in the Jacobs Inn Plus Hostel.

http://www.hostelbookers.com/hostels/ireland/dublin/

Others are listed on there.  They're far cheaper than the hotels I've looked at.

Think it's works out at about £30 a night if you're in a private room for 4, and a bit more if there are 3 of you - not sure if they have any for two, but that would also be a little more - not a lot though.  That includes breakfast as well apparently.

Hope that helps someone.
