That's brilliant !

how did the girls get into martial arts in the first place?
By accident really, they use to have a swimming lesson once a week, but outgrew it.

They wanted a new club or activity to take up at night, and thought of lots of things, but one of Jaydes Friends already had taken up karate, and it sort of went from there.

Pete and I encouraged them to go,and although this may seem a terrible thing to say but in this day and age it may save there life one day!

Thanks for all the congrats, the girls were made up this morning when they saw them.

Well done girls Smiley  It’s a wonderful confidence booster Smiley

I am terribly proud of all of my children, but most recently with my oldest who has been selected for the National Gifted & Talented Youth Smiley. Had to force him to do it though… Sad

If your son, the goalkeeper, is the tall one in the red top, then it's understandable.

Hi Gareth
At the club they are at they aim for a new belt once every 3 months, but they do have to earn it,and pass various tests before they are awarded a new belt.

Do you kickbox?

I started out with muay thai which was great fun but then took on karate when i went to uni as more classes were avaliable. Trouble is settling in one club as im back and forth or was between cardiff and my home town which do different styles so stopped going after xmas til im settled again.
Cant wait to start up again though, i recommed it to all children as is great for learning discipline and focus (important in poker) aswell as the obvious self defence.

Have a great holiday out there, take loads of photos to post on here and go on the jet skis  if you didn last time (such a gd laugh)
