I think you might have quite a few returning for the second day

How many do you think there will be, what clock are we on, and how many starting chips?

What is the prize structure at the moment, how many does it pay?

I think its a good idea in principle to give all those returning for day two something, but it can cause a lot of short stacks to try to hang on and run the clock down, you have to be careful what you promise

As they are not yet sure whether they will have to run the tourney as one "flight" or two.

Does this mean that the allotted time for play will in fact be halved if there are over 200 runners ?

Does this therefore suggest a far faster clock and structure than had been planned ?

What sort of clock/structure should a major tournament with a minimum £250.000 prize fund have ?

I would have thought a 45 minute clock would be the minimum for this event, but how can they do that ?

Lots of question, but I hope it's not going to be a "crapshoot"

Junior, I qualified live at Walsall on Wednesday and was chatting with

Danny V and one of the "suits" just before I left.

They were saying that they could fit in extra tables on the gaming floor if they roped them off.

But if there were more than 200(I think that was the figure) then there would be two sittings.

not sure i like the idea of two sittings unless i knew in advance when my sitting was.  I really dont want to be hanging around waiting to play.
p.s. 1pm for dinner sounds good to me!

its allmost a  cert there will be 2 sitting . going into today there were 155 seats  with 10 chances left. including walsalls wed and thurs which will definately get min 25 seats if not more.that leaves 8 venues left just to get 20seats. so it does look a formallity that there are two seating.
i do know that it is 10.000 starting chips .
i am going this evening so i will let you know tomorrow if there is anymore info, good luck.. thumbs up

any clock shortening should be done in levels 1-4 and not late on!!!!!!

its not good for the game and the players will form a deep resentment for the organisers! - maybe thats going a bit far but i wont like it

Since everyone has to turn up before 3pm on Saturday for the draw.

When we will find out if we are first or second sitting, why not make the second sitting Sunday ?

Play down to one table each day, then play the last two tables to a conclusion on Monday ?

lads how can they tell you about the draw when the runners has not be finalised.i think its a formality over 200  runners but if not everyone  looks like playing at 3pm.

Wish I could be down there for the Event. Will be the first one I've missed but unfortunately with a Mumps epidemic at work someone has to stay behind and look after the ship.

If there's separate afternoon and evening sessions, how will this work...?

Split into 100(ish) per sitting and play down to a specified number in each session. Then come back on Sunday (all in the money) and play out the remainder...?

Sorry, but this will be my biggest tourney to date, so I'm not sure how it all works...
