thanks Yogi.
Looks like Blackpool could be the venue.  It may give us more time to organise, what with Luton in full swing already. I'll be in touch

If short, give us dates playing, sat night, sunday would suit, then will try and get, if selected obviously.
Slo-mo could make up the numbers, he is in India at the minute. The only trouble with slo-mo being picked is that the tourney might run into a 4th day !!

Back home now and fully computered up again. Think we should try and hold the first rounds on seperate days to the semis/finals. No doubt you will all be in town for most of the festival so what better to do in the afternoons than come into the lovely casino and get trounced by the magnificent eight. Trophy is being done next week (provided by me as we are going to be keeping it anyway) so you have until then if you want to back down and admit the best poker players come from blackpool. Grin

What kind of 'kiss me quick' hat will the trophy be ?

And will the winners treat the losers to a night out at 'Funny girls' ?

The trophy will be a nice little crystal affair and will look very nice in the foyer of the grosvenor. As for funnygirls I know the blackpool poker players would prefer a lapdancing club Tongue but I'm not sure about the notts boys  Huh?

seeing your the expert on blackpool lapdancing clubs you can find out if,when and where karen baggoley is performing during the poker festival

and while you guys battle it out to see which casino is the least worst in britain i'll take my winnings and place it neatly in some garter belts

The match is on, and If a Blackpool player wins it I will give them a $1000 personally for their expenses in Vegas. We dont want Nowab or the Skull adopted into our team, Nowab stayed at my house the other night and i caught him going through my girlfriends underwear draw claiming he was sleepwalking, and Burnley Jon is a miserable git who reminds me of Steptoe. See u on Thursday, Simon.

Thanks for the donation to the Bubble Benevelent fund Rob cant wait to draw . With ref to Nowab n the knickers in his defence his mrs never packs enough for him cos she does not like him away for more than 48 hrs.he wear some real exiting colours though, get a glimpse when he leans forward to through chips into a pot you will usually see a pink T Bar exposed.

Simon the idea is to abuse the opposition not one of our own  Wink. Simon in skimpies?? Tikay could you get photgraphic evidence of this?
Myself and greg are currently working out the rules and details of this so watch this space for the agreed format.

I'll deal the final lol as i have no bias towards either team although i work in Blackpool and  i'm a born Midlander lol and seeing as i wont be on the staff list i'm sure it wont be an issue hehehe.

Looks like this is shaping up nicely maybe it could become a regular thing?

Just to confirm what Ariston said, he & Greg Junior Hill are finalising the details over the next few days. I have suggested they do this "off forum", otherwise it becomes a free for all as to ideas, & we'll never get the thing off the ground. So full details will be on the Forum in a few days.

And thnks for your offer Blue-Wolf, we will take you up on that.

A rergular thing? The Notts Boys have agreed to accept challenges from any Casino. As reigning Champions (elect) that's only right & fair.

Who made you reigning champions? I suppose you can be the arsenal very soon to be deposed by our chelsea.
I am going to sort out all details via emails Tikay as I know your lot will go with whatever Greg decides.
Good luck in the main eventbud and why dont you have a last longer bet with a difference with womble. The first of you to actualy play a hand loses. Grin
