Is it easy enough? I'm happy enough taking normal PC's apart, but I've never opened my laptop. An extra 512mb of RAM is only a £15 and I think I could use a gig rather than the 512 I currently have.

Easier than a pc, just slide open the cover and pop it in  I suppose the same compatability issues exist with latops as Desktops ? |

Obviously check your laptop has room for more ram and that the stuff you buy is compatable, but yeah it's really easy.

Sweet, ta guys. I went to Crucial's website and they analyse your computer to see what type of ram is ok for you, I'll just grab one of the recommended ones. Ta again  |

I've been planning on upgrading mine as well, where have found 512M for £15? |

bit confused, went on the site and did the scan that silo said and it came back with
Available Memory Slots: 0
Number of Banks: 1
Does that mean i will have to take out the other bit of RAM in there or do i have a spare slot to just add another 512 in??

i'm sure if you push hard enough you can squeeze some in via the cd drive or thru the holes in the back of it.
Will the fur not cause it to overheat and break though?
