suzanne the problem with the 3rd of june sat is will it get enough runners with many blondites in ireland from the 1st to the 3rd of june it would need about 20 runners at $25 ahead to work
is the blonde cardroom ready for these comps?

I think suzanne thinks the 250 quid comp in cardiff is a one off but it occurs every 4th sunday as old man tk knows as he is a regular in it.

I am with byron on what he said and would love an opportunity to play in the GUKPT!!!

Would be willing to pay anything up to £1.50 to get a seat, nah i would be happy to pay 50 dollars maybe double that if there is gd value.

Edit, would love the idea of a proper league running over a number of months, thats where i shine lol and basically anything anyone suggests i will probably be up for aswell!!!!

Like King Poker I'd love to play in a league - I'm up for a $10-$20 MTT every night - unless I've got other things on. But whatever, I'd just like to play against you lot that keep me amused, informed and entertained and continue to improve my game. Get it sorted Kev!

Agree with Tech, however couldn't afford much more than $5 a night until my game improves. Maybe 2/3 tourneys per week for the league?

If these were done nightly, us lesser mortals wouldn't have the money to play in enough tourneys to compete on a league basis.

Dohhhh...of course. I watched this on poker weekly so it makes sense its on every month.

Okay I agree that we would probably be hard pushed to find 20 runners on Blonde who are localish to Cardiff but I know just the man to ask ;-)

I like the idea of a Blonde comp for one of the bigger ones though.

Like i said before, we cant offer direct sats to live events due to casinos agreements with other cardrooms.

what you can think about though is the fortnightly blonde comp with a 2k gtd prizepool (next one on Thursday 24th) with 3x $5 sats to the main comp.

what is to stop you all playing this and should you cop for the first prize, buy yourself into a festival event.

we got 26 runners for the last one, so there was an overlay of $700 ....

Next sat is a $5 rebuy tomorrow (sunday) at 8.30pm.

then a $5 freezeout on Wednesday at 8.30pm

if we are struggling to get players for these, what difference would it make to the numbers just by calling it another name ??

Im sure if the winner of the comp told us what event he/she was going to buy into with his winnings, we could get him/her a T-shirt to wear at the event.

The cardroom can only continue with the support of the members, so its down to you guys.

Sincere apologies if I'm being thick here, was it not you Kev that started this thread asking for feedback?

Or have I totally misread the last post?

LOL no mate you are not being thick, i just need to gauge the support for the events that we put on for the membership.

I use the 2k Gtd events and the sats as benchmarks for the interest we can expect if we ran festival sats... (comps where the winner could choose to use the winnings to buy into an event)

What I am saying is that IF i changed the name of the 2k Gtd to say sat for ..xxxx event and still offered a 2k gtee would we suddenly get more runners ?
