The new album isn't bad - and it's far better than some of the crap they've been doing recently.

I think the single is one of the weakest songs on the album as well.

Have you been to see them before Jon?  I used to go and see them religiously in their early days - an excellent band live.

My first concert as an 'official' university student was to see the Manics.  James Dean Bradfield stage dived into the crowd and pretty much landed on my head.  Fortunately he was much thinner at the time.

I also got a copy of Generation Terrorists, pre-release, via a mate who interviewed them for the University newspaper but wasn't a big fan.  It has one signature across the inlay card, that of Richey.  I wonder what it would fetch on Ebay if I were ever tempted.  I've never spotted anything comparable to compare it to.

Sark,

Please put a photo of your left arm onto the forum.

We need to check for scars.

Only once, I'm not so much of a gig person generally, but yes they were excellent live.

Should be worth a fair bit.  I'll ask Richey if he's signed any more like that... Grin

Richey is currently delivering the evening gazette in Colchester, disguised as a 67 year old geezer who smokes rollies and sings petula clarks back catalogue whilst on his round.
