Hey guys,
I was wondering if any pro's have had any problems getting through US immigration? Is it ok for players to get through on tourist Visa, or are you supposed to apply for a "work visa"? Surely immigration are going to be suspicious of someone going to LV for a few months, with no recorded job and bundles of cash in their pocket.

Las Vegas is one of the few states where as long as you declare anything over $10k you are ok, I wouldnt try taking vast amounts into Miami though. LOL
Whatever you do do not tell them you are going to be working  during your stay i.e Poker Pro, David Benyamine tried this a few years ago and was refused entry. Just tell them you are on vacation ,Im not too sure on how long you are allowed but the duration of WSOP should be fine. Ive stayed for about 6 weeks the last few years and never had a problem, changing flights a few times too.
One thing though if you are taking over $10k DO NOT forget to declare it or you could have big problems

i can't be bothered to look it up but wasnt DB refused entry cos some terrorist has the same name? I read the US visa requirement page a while back and people from the UK are allowed to travel for business purposes (with some exclusions like journalism) without a visa. having said that I'm sure you're right that it's a lot easier to just say you're on holiday.

No you dont. I went out last November. All I had to complete was the waiver cards on the plane.
