Got home and took some lemsip pills and feeling much better... so before filling the hot water bottle I have to say WELL DONE Chilli - you are totally unflappable and a total natural at this...It would be a pleasure to update with you at some point (although you could run the show).

A really enjoyable evening, thanks to everybody - the players, the viewers, & Chlli.

Jen put up a great fight, but at a sharp end of a NL touirney, running into nicely played Aces is usually fatal.

I am well proud of the blondeites, who "looked after" Chuilli on her debut. She did just great too, a quite splendid debut. You'll be hearing more of Chilli, I hope.

We had a bad journey home. Taxi to Highgate, where we'd dumped the car, up the A1 to somewhere north of Bedford, where it was closed, then a 30mile diversion, eventually arriving at Chilli's Grantham home at around 3.45am, then across via Nottingham to Ilkeston, got home at 0430.

Nice day though, really nice.

Next Update? This weekend, the Grosvenor Grand Prix, from Walsall, where Jen wll be back in the chair, & I shall be playing, for a while at least.

Before this thread diies completely, can we just address the question of the "missing A of Diamonds".

It is clear to me that some, many perhaps, of you, cannot see the A of Diamonds - this card....  ad

Yet I can, & I know others can.

Any clues?
