I would agree with that. I like the concept of Sky Poker, its innovative, I've enjoyed apperaring on the show and I can see how it is bringing new players into the market
I also understand that the time constraints of the nightly show demand a comp with a quick structure
However if the schedule of comps (non-televised) had some slower structures allowing sensible poker to be played for longer periods, then those would appeal to a wider range of players and those new players you have introduced once they look to progress.

Welcome ladies..............
how about qualification on line for a sky live event?
?
Once your new players and for sure you are attracting new players have played in a live tourney they will be hooked for life...........you could use your poker pros to train all live tourney newbies
The TV spin offs are almost endless

Are you going to introduce a downloadable version of the software or will it just continue to be on the browser?
Could just be me, i am a moron, but sometimes i manage to move the table across in the window and it cuts off the players on the left hand side and there seems to be no way to put it back.
KP
p.s really do like the idea of online satellites for a live sky open tourney!

be careful about running satellites allowing people to qualify to go on the show or a live open of some kind. Several blondites definitely have faces made for radio and you don't want to alienate your audience.
Think I will come down later in the month if thats OK with you girls

Hi RichEO, et al,
I am on the development team for this software, please post your comments and/or list of annoying features etc.
Regards.
The main gripes I have are these:
When you untick auto post blinds, it ALWAYS still posts the big blind and on the next hand asks you if you want to post the small blind, this is 1 hand too late, when I untick the auto post blinds box, I want to leave before it auto posts the BB!
When you want to leave the table and you just close the window, your player and money are still sat at the table for ages (I'd guess another 10minutes, but I'm not sure how long). This have several annoying consequences, it takes up a seat for other players and it has your money on the table so you can't check you balance properly.
If you want to leave without just closing the table, the stand and exit buttons are not available most of the time.. To get sit out to show, you have to sit out, and to sit out you have to be in a hand. Sitting out at the particular point just before you post the big blind is impossible if you are playing that hand (exacerbated due to the above problem with the auto post blind occuring incorrectly).
The chips stacks are not visible at all times, you can mouse over to see them... but only if the player hasn't got a hometown that is longer than can be displayed on one line. If their hometown is too long the chip stack isn't visible. I first notices this when someone has Newcaste Under-Lyne. Obviously, so it's fair I had to go to my own details and artificially increase the length of my own hometown (anything for an edge).
I might be able to find some more annoyances and I certainly have a few features I would like to see, but as I have 2 courseworks in on thursday another nextweek and some exams to revise for somewhere in between, it's no poker for a week, maybe
.
Cheers. If anyone else has opinion on where the software is lacking, do let me know here and I will try to improve it with your suggestions.

This happened to me a few times as well. I sussed out that it was when I tried to move the window before the table image was fully loaded. If you just wait until everything's up before trying to move it, it should be ok. Otherwise, just closing down the window at an opportune moment and relaunching it should sort it out.

Yup, something is already in preparation, quite soon as well, it's gonna be a bit special, & a trial, as the first of many. It's almost all signed & sealed, & a great day is in prospect.
Tease over.....
