he's hardly gonna fold for 8k. he didn't really do anything wrong to be fair. and neither did you. big whoop.

Yeah I could have pushed pre-flop and got him off his hand and progressed to the final table with a small stack but I wanted to go for a full double up. He always did a pot size c-bet on the flop, so I was well happy when the chips went in.
