The game is PL 1/2euro 8 handed atm

Villain for the hand is a local playing about 750e he moved from the must move table to here the main table ... Has been in a lot of pots but has shown down very little usually gets out by the flop... Lost a big hand recently to top two pair but didnt show on the river...

Im playing roughly 550e after grinding away and the following hand comes up..

Full ring
I'm sat in MP2 with :

There wasa blind raise with 2 callers before me and I pump it up to 15 I get 4 callers in the way of the Hijack, CO and button.

Pot: 68e

Flop comes down

I check HJ checks, CO leads out for 25 Button flat calls (he covers with like 700.. reads are he isn't very good and is certainly no better than 2pair here) I raise to 80... HJ/CO passes Button calls...

Pot:253e

Turn

I bet 220 he thinks for 4-5 minutes and flat calls...

Pot 693e

I now have like 180 ish left and stick it in blind

River

He calls.

Final Pot 1053e

Thoughts please and put him on a range.

And i lead out on flop with set, but as you have check/raised i would make it more expensive so you can shove the turn.

A prime example of why never to bluff in a low limit live cash game. "OMG I HAVE ABOUT THE 20th NUTS I'M PROBABLY WINNING SO I'LL JUST CALL DOWN THE ENTIRE WAY"

As others have said, I'd also lead out on the flop.

he thinks for 4-5 minutes - Call clock here.

Nah, I meant that hand was a prime example that people are willing to just call down with a very weak hand when you've shown rather a lot of strength.

It was kind of a mini rant because I just can't believe some of the rubbish people call with playing live, it makes me lose a lot of cash, although I guess it means I win more when I have a hand.

Calling clock isn't that uncommon is cash games? I play at the gutshot and it seems to happen several times per session.
