But seriously, I think Red Bull could make a serious impact on an English club they decided to invest in.  They've done pretty well in F1, and in football clubs elsewhere.

Everton could definitely do with the investment.  Liverpool too of course, and maybe Red Bull would be a good 'fit' with FSG?

With FSG!? How would you see that working? Wouldn't they want to buy a/the club? Or at least shirt sponsored deals (aren't we tied in for a number of years?) or have I missed the point

Yes, they'd want to invest/buy the club.  Was just pondering the idea of them owning it along with FSG and working together.  Obviously, if that's not something they wanted to do, they wouldn't, and they'd look elsewhere.

Doubt it'll be Everton. By all accounts Kenwright wants too much.

Off to Anfield tomorrow, taking a cousin of my girlfriend who is over working from Singapore.

Hospitality package here we go!

Some superb goals. Sturridge's was sublime.

Massive game Saturday, and a very good litmus test to where we are.

Feels like a massive game tomorrow so early in the season. Hope you all feel the same sense of anticipation/trepidation I do :-)

At least we now know!

I thought 60mins 2nd best. Changed formation and we then looked much better.

Arsenal today were where we are trying to get too.

Highlighted what manylLiverpool fans have been saying. Not got the strength in depth in the squad, and the position in the league may well prove  to be a false one.

Arsenal were streets ahead in pretty much all areas and can only imagine how much more dangerous they'd be with Suarez in the side as well as Wenger wanted. Still look very good as they are.

Good to have Coutinho back, now just need Johnson and Jose Enrique to give the side some proper shape and threat down the sides.
