I bet there were a fair few people scratching around on the floor looking for their winning tickets after that finish !!

lol, for the champ? for that dog to only go round 8 Lengths behind the rest you could just go and collect your money!

there are some other races on there of the dog, i'm gonna check em out, i think he went round a lot further detached sometimes lol.

I dont know if it's true or not but i'm told he's not really going that faster at the end as he was at the start and if you measured its speed in the first quarter and the last they'd pretty much be about the same, it's just he's an out an out stayer and other dogs have gone flat out and are tying up.

I was at Wembley that night, (IIRC it was a charity nite and Downes and Minter presented trophys). In fact I had had one of my biggest winning dog bets ever in either the race before or the one before that - 23 years ago and I can still remember the dog was called Frieston Rebel and was in Trap 5 in the hurdles race at 11/10!

Lol I even remember that I was spinning up winnings from Hannon's 'Sailors Song' that had won at Brighton, (I think), earlier in the day.

Suprising really as I can't remember what I had for dinner last night... *sigh*

And yes its a good camera, as you well know! Only problem is its a lot of effort to shrink them all to put them on here!

They look so happy!

Only problem is its a lot of effort to shrink them all to put them on here

I have the same problem. Chili told me there is a super-dooper short cut that the Updaters use, & she's gonna show me how to do it when I'm next at her place. Why not ask her?
