Kristy Gazes vs Chad Brown. Quarter Final of Heads Up Championship

Chad Brown on the Button with    Two Clubs raises to 8000 , blinds 1500 - 3000.

Kristy on BB with    reraises to 24,000.

 Flop is

 Both Check

 Turn is

Kristy bets 40,000 , Chad smooth calls

 River is  two hearts

 both players Check.

Now this was a very interesting hand , standard raise and re-raise preflop.

on the flop , Kristy should bet out , she doesnt want a face card coming on the turn and losing the lead. Standard check by Brown.

at this point Kristy actually calls out for the case six to come on the turn Huh? no idea why she would do that.

on the turn even though she only has a 9 kicker , she bets out , perhaps trying to represent the Ace fair enough.

Brown calls , obviously with the nuts.

the river is irrelevant a silly deuce , Gazes checks and Brown checks the nuts behind her. Why no value bet Huh?

anyway , they turn their hands and the dealer passes the chips to Brown , and Gazes says '' ah Hello ? we both have Quads ! " and the dealer says " yes , but Chad has the Ace kicker " and then Brown explains his kicker is higher and eventually Kristy accepts she made a mistake.

amazing to watch , so many questions arise. Does Gazes know the rankings and what a kicker is ?

why did Brown not value bet the river ?? - he said afterwards he thought she must have had an Ace with her turn bet , and if she didnt she wouldnt call a bet on the river SO HE DIDNT WANT TO WASTE HER TIME.

 with the nuts !!!

 absolutely amazing stuff.

 available on pokertube , Q - Final 5/8 , 6/8 check it out.

Strange indeed, can only assume she was giggling so much about the 4th  on the turn that she had a brain fart, as for Chad's failure to bet, no excuse, he "assumed" she had an  , well it would have split, so a no risk bet would be in order.

yeah i think they are a bit too friendly in this game , and as for the phrase '' brain fart '' im going to make it my duty to use that saying tomorrow , probably inappropriately when drunk and stuffed with undercooked meat in a bun at a BBQ.

 thanks.
