Yes thanks Iron:)

Brian is a great guy, & a WSOP Bracelet Winner, he shot for the stars & succeeded. I concentrate more & more on small buy-in Tourneys, with the target being quite simple - survive in the game, & don't get outside my financial comfort zone. We all have to play our own game, our own way. Winning Events is not my goal - just staying in poker is all I aspire to.

I swerved the £1,000 Poker 6 at Bolton over the weekend & instead played a little £200 comp, picked up £620, & that's two more £200 comps "in the bank". Survivalist thinking! And I can't tell you the satisfaction that £620 gave me, or the fun.

In truth, no, I don't think I've lerarned much from Brian, though that's not to say I don't respect him & like him hugely. We have very different approaches to the game, & the game itself.

As for Chili, saying I am not really tight - well, that's just silly. I'm right up there with Stu Fox & Tighty when it comes to passing.

She certainly did that!

If only my opponents had such respect, but they queue up to call my annual bluff, damn them.

A nice little show that, & big thanks to Brian & Maria for the nice comments.

I must say, Brian is the fun-most guy I've ever met in poker, he is SO much fun to be around.

His "and how do you like THAT buster?" still cracks me up, every time.

Oh that!! Well I got there just in time and they changed the tournament to an Omaha 8's or better comp.  hmmmmm  gave it a miss.  Not the time to donate $300 whilst learning.  Going tonight at 8 instead to the $100 rebuy, that should be fun!!  The players there dont need a rebuy comp to go nuts!!
