Just like to echo the thanks to Sky Poker for putting on a great event.  It was good to meet up with the blondes again  and really nice to meet some new folks.  The whole day seemed in good spirit (thankfully I missed the 'SnG Incident) and I'll hopefully get the opportunity to take part in another event.

Thanks again.

Do not be modest, Silo, you did a great interview, and I am sure we will all enjoy it immensely.

I still think eck drinks to much though, but it did help us tear up the sit and go's.

LOL

Oh and I won the next one after you had to go to your bed lightweight!!!

I would like to add my thanks also we had a cracking weekend, a good time on the saturday at the poker and an enjoyable day with the wee one at Drayton Manor on the sunday (although I was a little tired  Grin)

Just went a bit wrong at the end as we got an earlier flight and well sting by Flybe for the privelige and then found the car with a puncture and an alloy not wanting to come off at the airport. I know 50p! suppose it could have been worse could have been 10pm when we got to the car if we hadn't got the earlier flight.

Thanks for the tremendous feedback on the Birmingham Tournament. Thanks have to go to Tikay, who did most of the work setting it up, and to Norm and Ed for being there to play. We'll be talking very soon about where to hold the next one. Any suggestions?!

Not sure about the next one, but a hearty reccomendation to hold a future event at "Dusk Till Dawn".

If it does, I will contact someone at Sky about getting the footage, then share on that U-Tube thingy....

Well, what a cracking day, the Sky chaps and Broadway did a grand job, Harmony and I really enjoyed it.

Was good to meet up with people we knew and people we had online met across the virtual felt, and a "Special" thank you to Eck, MickyP, Harmony, Silo and Foggy for your generous contribution in our last longer bet, hoping to catch up with Foggy soon.
I was proud to be wearing my team "Blonde Bandit" cap when I got so deep, we may get unlucky in HU, but we do well when it counts.....

Grats to Harmony and MickyP who were SNG champs of the evening and I think Ed got lucky in an Omaha SNG.

Nice work by Zukertort for taking down the main event, and as Eck reasoned, by being busted by him I actually came Second. (Nice one Eck!)

Hoping to get an invite for the next one.

Appologies for not paying my debt, consider it banked to be called off at our next meeting Bainn.

I made a hasty retreat after a suckout that took two thirds of my chips, then a big slick that didnt improve against 33.

The loose atmosphere of people willing to push with almost nothing, confirmed that the players are definately tha same players that enter the Open most evenings.

Having said that excellant afternoon and great to see everyone again, my biggest congratulations to Mickey P who was totally sober until I left the venue, to enter the APAT Japan Open. My rich vein of luck continued and I bounced out early in that!

Looking forward to meeting the Sky crew and Andy on the 7th July.

My suggestion would be the G Casino in Luton because it is 10 minutes walk from my house!

Anywhere south of Birmingham would be great.  If I could be specific, Stanley Reading or the Western would be ideal, but anywhere really Cheesy

(assuming I get a 2nd invite of course!)
