Well after watching Indian Ink and championship point win yesterday when I didn't have a bet (and ussually always back them to) I am a bit gutted..but what can you do?

the last day..and it's a tricky one.

first race is a no bet for me...a shitty race.

Scorpion should really win the second one..I don't see why Marahel should beat him here especially with the ground easing...The more rain the better his chances.

The Jubilee will be very tricky if the rain comes down. Australian horses are not used to soft ground and it would mess up the chances of Takeover target (who over 6F is better than Ms Andretti in my humble opinion) If the rain comes down I go with a British horse and you can do worse than Rising shadow at around the 40/50-1 mark

The Wokingham looks to be a race for the hold up horses so that rules Beckermet out (though he might sneak a place) I was quite taken with Bentong last time out and at 25-1 ish you can do worse. (the wife will go for Hogmaniegh though and she jinxes everything I touch) Quite a dissapointing race overall though and probably one to stay away from.

Scriptwriter is a horse I quite like and has a decent shot in the duke of Edinburgh stakes 5-1 looks a bit big for me..so I'll have me some of that.

If you forced me to have a bet in the last I'd go with golden Quest but this really is poor fare and I'll stay well clear of this one.
