Its a funny thing this poker room lark, what one person finds a necessity another will think its an awful idea. But ALL comments are passed on to the relevant people and they then collate the feedback and make decisions based on several meetings and reports etc ...

Some issues would require complete changes on the entire network, therefore they require the agreement from everyone associated with the network ... imagine how difficult that can be LOL

we are constantly giving our input into discussions with the network, and we do keep, and forward all of the suggestions that are made on the forum.

the slider is too skinny I keep on missing it and if I press it too many times it's hard to click it on the left hand side so that you can get your bet lower. see stars for perfect slider imo

To be honest, 'Stars are perfect in most ways, & give evey other site, us included, a target of quality to aim for. And as it happens, no, I rarely play Stars these days, though I somehow amassed 150,000 FPP's when I was SNG-ing there, most of which I still have.

All you have to do is click the slider and it goes up in intervals of x times the big blind. The problem is it skips three, which is sodding irritating.

I quite like the software apart from a few niggly bits. Mainly I like the fact that They are listening and have already addressed the issue of small graphics on the cards and given us more time to act.

I like getting a loyalty bonus without having to play a specified amount to work it off, and I like the cash games because they are the softest I have found at my level.

Oh, and I like to support blonde too

There was no bad beat. we had someone called Tim on our table, he lost half his chips bluffing at the first hand. he then proceded to move all in every other hand, every single time he showed a bluff.

I decided there and then that if I got involved with him I would not pass. Anyway, I limp from mid position with A J, there  are 2 more limpers, including Tim.

The flop comes x x A, I lead out for 300, the other two fold, Tim moves all in for 2.5k more. I call, Tim has AQ.

A few hands later Tim makes it 500 from utg, Mick Fletcher re-pops it to 2k. I have 2.7k left and find KQ suited, I have a think.

I know Tim can have anything, Mick doesn't have to have a monster to rr here but he does have to try to isolate Tim. I'm getting 2/1 my money and I decide to push, Tim goes all in, Mick calls.

On there backs, Mick has JJ, Tim has 22, Jacks hold.

I have reproduced this before, an email sent to our provider and Playtech after the change from Tribecca

Some of these issues have been dealt with, some are pending but we continue to press (sometimes in conjunction with other rooms on the network) for the changes our players on threads at the time requested

Detailed blonde poker player feedback for Playtech

Stability of Site

 The biggest issue to our mind is the stability and reliability of the software. Disconnections are frequent, players often struggle to log-in. A combination of these two problems is now a daily occurrence. Indicative to us of a need for a server upgrade as it does not appear geared to coping with a 20,000 player base at peak times rather than 4,000 previous.

Site features and playability

 Mini-View usability/resizing tables.....the option is full size or mini-view...players would like to be able to resize tables. Eg Four tabling not possible on normal size tables without overlap and on mini view the cards are too small to see.

 More time to act required (especially this is a complaint from multi-table players…). At 15 seconds on the new network players need longer time to act...Stars at 30 seconds or so is the most mentioned. Players are getting timed out frequently if multi tabling and are often typing in bets and putting them on the wrong table as the latest table to pop up steals focus. Is there a possibility of a time bank option for tough decisions?

To quote:
“I think Stars gives you thirty seconds decision time to act on a hand; Tribeca used to give us twenty seconds. I've clocked I-Poker at around fifteen/sixteen seconds, and that's assuming one is not first to speak pre-flop, where you get even less time.
I was speculating about that with another player recently who surmised - and I think he's right - that this is because the timer for the under the gun player starts as soon as the "card-dealing graphic" begins to play itself out; the deal itself is rather slow, so by the time your cards have been revealed, a quarter of your clock is already gone. Have a look next time you're under the gun and see if I'm right, the 'countdown' clock should appear, a quarter full, almost as soon as you get your cards.
Fifteen seconds of decision time is bad enough when you're on the button and have the whole table's actions to sit through to think over the possibilities; to get just twelve seconds or thereabouts when in first position seems to me to be a bit of a tough sell”

 Betting bar ...no bet pot button? The betting bar jumps from 2x bb to 4x bb? Why? The bar is very sensitive, not very user-friendly.

 Omaha games...our bigger rakers require bigger buy-in PLO games to be available. They are needed to attract the bigger Omaha players from Stars or Full Tilt.

 Hand histories: copy and paste difficult, storage on PCs is in a XML format. Not a user friendly system,

To quote “Hand Histories seem pretty hard to read in real time and (at least in my case) the hands stored on my PC are in some garbled XML format that I cant read. This might be an error I have with Vista/New PC not having an XML reader, but regardless, the Instant Hand History in real time should be more streamlined.”

“I have Windows XP and have no idea how to read the XML hand histories; if anyone knows what I'm missing out on then please, please enlighten me...”

 Tournament summaries available via e-mail is a big plus when a poker-tracker user is choosing a site to play on

 The 'auto post' blinds option deactivates for no reason, to quote “every time I reloaded a table, it seemed to uncheck my "auto post blinds" box”

 The software stops you typing when you have a decision on another table. This can mean your msn conversation goes into the chat-box, you type a bet in on the wrong table, takes longer to do a refill, or are unable to write notes without it being interrupted every second.

 Ability to choose your location at table required please. A basic feature appreciated by most, either to sit at the most advantageous spot at a table, for multi-table players to co-ordinate their play more effectively or simply for the aesthetics of a favourite position at a table

STTS

The change to the “normal” STTs has been very welcomed. This could be complemented by two further changes:

 The STT lobby is cluttered and difficult to navigate. There is a bewildering array of “brands” and formats. Simplification please

 Wider range of structures required...as examples of what can be found elsewhere: extended clock/deep-stack/two table, 45 runner/HORSE type STTs please

Yes, I've noticed that too.  It's on the wrong screen for me - but it doesn't seem like it wants to move.

There are some nice features too.  Just want perfection, of course.
