I'd say it was 6 months.  They're a bit smarmy and I would think if they don't have it at one year old, it's career over.

A quick google around and I can find a few sites that all say 6 months.

Quote
Jedi are usually identified within the first six months of birth. At this early age, the infants begin their Jedi training. Because older children experience fear and anger, the Jedi believe it is unwise to train them in the ways of the Force. To enter Jedi training, one must be approved by the Jedi Council.

Yeah, I'll stick with that.  Wink

In many of these cases, the age of the candidate for training comes into question. Typically, to qualify for youngling status, the child must be no older than 1 standard year, though exceptions are occasionally made. For instance, Eeth Koth was accepted into the order at 4 years of age, but a special exception was made due to his dedication and clarity of mind. Anakin Skywalker was also an exception, though it could easily be said allowing him to become a jedi was a grave error. He was allowed to enter the Jedi Order at the age of nine years old. A'Sharad Hett was also accepted into the Jedi Order at an unacceptable age, though it could be said he was trained as a youngling and padawan by his father, who was a Jedi Knight.

What is a Jedi?

Please don't tell me it's some fictional book or film.

I thought a 10 page thread on the WWF nonsense was bad enough - have you seen it? (the thread) - grown-ups actually taking it seriously! I guess each to their own, but jeez.......
