Well that's that, the end of what was a very well supported league ... a massive thanks to everyone that has supported the league and made it the big success that it turned out to be.

The full final table can be found here http://www.blondepoker.com/index.php?q=node/10215 and a big thanks to snoopy for keeping the scores.

So the prize winners ....

Winning the league ... it is becoming a bit of a habit ..

1st             $300  BLUFFER

2nd             $200 ECK

3rd              $100  SILO GRAHAM

4th              $50   ANDREWT

5th              $25  WARDONKEY

6th              $25  STONE

I will get the prizes added to your blonde accounts within 48 hours and CONGRATULATIONS to all the prize winners.

Just to let you know, 55 players made points in the league, which just goes to show how well supported the whole league was.

I also cleaned up on the virtual book .... although ECK could have cost me a fortune had he started better in the early comps Wink

It is always a pleasure to put on an event when it is so well supported and for that I thank you all ...

so on we go to JULY and the blonde/Virgin team league ... I hope everyone is looking forward to that, and the fact that we will have a blonde in a festival event through these events makes it doubly exciting in my opinion ... good luck to everyone taking part in this.

all it remains for me to say is CONGRATULATIONS BLUFFER you played a blinder.

Well done to everyone who played this in terrific blonde spirit, & especially those who cashed.

Thanks from all of us at blonde. We do need Members to play on blonde to help pay for this place, & we appreciate the enthusiasm & support for the blonde League.

Put my $25 in Floppsy's account on condition that he spends it on beer.

I trust he has the day off tomorrow...

Congrats to Bluffer on winning the league (again) and to all the other money winners.

Bit of a newcomer to blond (met Kev, Jane & Tikay at the APAT event in Dublin) and only played the last five events. Still I managed to cash in 2 of them so quite pleased with that.  Really enjoyed the friendly banter and spirit the games are played in, great fun. Unfortunately I'm a bit of football nut and my local team (Uxbridge) play their midweek games on Tuesday nights so I cant commit to the Team Challenge, which is a shame. Good luck to everyone taking part and I hope to play in future events when they are organised.

CONGRATULATIONS BLUFFER you played a blinder.

Just a quick word of thanks to Kev and the team for running the league. Highlights for me include:

  • Nice range of buyins
  • Excellent mix up of days for the comps to give everyone a chance to play
  • Super cocktail to Holdem / Omaha
  • Worthy winner

I played many of the matches on bluffers tables, he was a very consistant performer. His patience and decision making of when to strike without over committing himself and getting knocked out was awesome. I think my poker tracker entry for him says it all:

BlufferUK(IPN) Vol = 17.4 -  Won T$ WSF 38.7 - Won T$ as SD 64.6 - PF Raise 4.74 Check Raise 0.0

One last point, the reality of internet poker is it can be a lonely pastime, the banter and community spirit when playing the league games (and I guess blonde in general) made every event a corker for me.
