Nice to see that the premier poker tournaments  in the world are run so well, Dave C and Marty reg together and surprise surprise end up sitting side by side and Andy and Adrian I assume reg together and sit side by side, nice random table drawing.

You should have been in Deauville in 2006. That time they drew tables in alphabetical order so the Boatman brothers were sitting next to each other. I remember Jen (Mason) being drawn next to Isabelle Mercier. Ridiculous.

and for some strange reason half the field wanted to change their names to h kendall, p kendall, s kendall.........

I think some changed it to Ariston, but then realised that (1) you weren't playing and (2) it wasn't your real name.

Stu Fox is on 27k after doubling up off big chipper Phil Ivey.

I was and as my name is Olin I got drawn with a bunch of manic scandies with names like Olsen etc and we had 4 exits before level 2.

As for being drawn together, myself and Dave C reged for one of the $2000 events last year, Phil Laak was behind us in the que and surprise surprise I was drawn raising into the pair of them.......

Such BS when you think about it, travel a couple of thousand miles, que up with your mates and then end up playing a home game.

Unfortunately, we can't see how Roland is getting on in the No Limit Hold'Em final as it's one of those Internet final that they hide away in a private area.

Actually, Dubai says that they only let one filled. According to Dubai, he couldn't fill the spot.  Grin

Bearing in mind that our feed has an hour delay, Roland is still in, maybe fourth in chips (1 million, perhaps) with eight players remaining.  Just saw him nearly get paid off when his gutshotted a broadway straight on the river, and he bet near-pot with it, but the lone pair of Kings didn't call.

Wolfe watch.

They've played about 3 rounds and lost one player so far.

Roland's only played 2 hands.

He called a raise with pocket from the blinds and lead out on a King high flop, A,9 folded and Roland won a small pot.

Later chip leader Steve Crawford raises with    Roland in the big blind calls with  . The flop comes    . check check, turn  check check, river  ! Roland bets out but no call from Crawford.

He's currently 3rd or 4th in chips and has position on most of the chips.

He looks relaxed; slouched over the table eating a choc ice with his white baseball cap on back to front.

You're welcome sir. Maybe he should release the song a second time, it would for sure land him another number 1 hit!

On Roland: I'm watching the "Live-but-actually-delayed" feed. He looks relaxed indeed, won 2 out of 2 hands. Players are returning from their break now (actually, they returned half an hour ago) so they're returning from their break on the feed. Aarggh.. too much confusion!

wardonkey do you have a link for the feed and do you need to buy it or is it a freeby?

PM sent.

It's on the WSOP website.

You have to pay $50. For that you get the 'as live' feed with hole cards and good commentary and analysis. It includes quite a few events but you've missed most of them.

EDIT It does NOT include coverage of the Main event final. (You get an audio feed for that, which I think is free)
