But what about the proper kids programmes

Wednesday - Bill & Ben, the Flower Pot Men. Guest appearance by Weedy Weeeeeeeed.

Thursday - Muffin the Mule

Friday - Woodentops.

Radio - Light Programme

Saturday - Childrens Choice. McDonald Hobley. Regularly featured The Laughing Policeman, Rex Harrison, Billy Goat Gruff, Danny Kaye, & The Dam Busters March.

Weekdays - Childrens Hour, daily for 15 minutes (!). "Are you sitting comfortably?" (All nod). "Then we'll begin".
