Thursday - Muffin the Mule
Friday - Woodentops.
Radio - Light Programme
Saturday - Childrens Choice. McDonald Hobley. Regularly featured The Laughing Policeman, Rex Harrison, Billy Goat Gruff, Danny Kaye, & The Dam Busters March.
Weekdays - Childrens Hour, daily for 15 minutes (!). "Are you sitting comfortably?" (All nod). "Then we'll begin".

Muffin the mule was sheer class, well not quite sheer as Muffin was a puppet and you could see it's strings  I was rather fond of Sooty too who's catchphrase was "izzy wizzy let's get busy"
