What detergent do you use? tumble dry or clothes line?

have you switched from 40 to 30?

I do the ironing though, love it and find it very calming.

Wife says she uses liquid detergent as it's less messy. Generally Aerial.

30 degree wash for most items, says that most good detergents do a good job at the lower temps.

Likes to hang washing on the balcony as Dryer is expensive to run but due to the weather here in Scotland, the dryer is used more than she likes.

I think a posser is that wooden stick job you stir the washing with. Faded by years of boiling water usually.
