Tried to get my hands on the inside poker mag today..nowhere to be found.

WH Smith at Central station stopped selling pokerplayer magazine.....or any other poker mag for that matter
I went to the WH smith on Argyle street (the biggest WH smith in this damm city), rang them first because it's a pain to get there after work.."Yeah we sell that" was their reply when I asked if they sold inside poker.

No they don't...they sell "Flush" magazine..(Presumably because it looks like a lads mag this month) and WPT mag and one other one I'd never heard of but looks like something you wouldn't even pick up at your local casino.

Borders was pretty much the same..though they do still sell pokerplayer magazine. RSMcoll..well in city centre the lady just gave me a blank look when I asked for something different from what she usually sells (From the look of the store it was either Hello!, OK! or porn...and buckfast and cigarettes.

bollox, just realised i get inside poker from cardiff WH smith, they sell cardplayer europe, pokerplayer and flush in the one near me. Definately going to have to subscribe now!

that's what I'll have to do...I always used to get pokerplayer mag..never read inside poker but some people said it was good so I thought I'd give it a crack...don't like taking out a subscription on a mag I've never read before.

They probably do stock it, but they've run out.

Most poker magazines won't sell much in the 'high street' so most shops who do stock them won't order many copies, 'Inside Poker' is one of the more popular magazines - so the ones they do stock will run out. Its been too long since the last issue, that's why you won't find it anywhere - the next one comes out in the shops on the 12th.




EDIT: Although saying that, none of the poker magazines get that high circulation - e.g. Poker Player sells around 10k copies a month, Cross Stitcher magazine sells around 65k - so it wouldn't be that surprising if many shops just stopped stocking them altogether.

no Glasgow is ussually quite good for these things (Well Borders is and WH smith used to be) I'll get a subscription on both...gives me something to read when the mrs is talking about which house to buy

I am sure I got it from WH Smith once before mate.  Not the Argyle Street WH Smith though, the one on Sauchiehall Street I think it is Sauchiehall Street,  I never use names of Streets.  I use landmarks.  Even now walking round Killie I probably know about three street names and use landmarks to navigate around.
