just been for an interveiw in a jewellers, got the job after a one hour interveiw. Its only 900 a month though, and i get the results of the mortage company interveiw tommorow which is nearly 15'000 a year as opposed to 10800 so i dont know what im going to do. I start at the jewellers tommorow so... in a bit of a sticky situation.

Nice one Chris!  My first job paid £45 a week, which was a pittance even back in 1993, but it got me experience to move on to other jobs and I earn a little bit more than that now Smiley  Treat it as a first step on the ladder, work hard, and you'll do good.

Best of luck

Yes, my dad started in a jewellers LOL. No mate there is no uniform just wear exremely smart clothes (my new suit) shirt tie and nice shoes. Im gonna work hard at it because i will always remember how completely lame it is to not have a job, unless making £500 a week playing poker but that never happened. My dad tells me "the harder you work, the luckier you get" so im gonna bust my balls and hopefully start flying. budget poker to about £100 a month or something and also committ some into a savings account.  There are live games in Caversham 6 times a week in the casino!!! how quality is that.  tuesday £20 buy in, wednesday £10 buy in, thursday £20, friday £20, saturday £40, sunday £20 buy in.  So im going to play some live poker again at last! i really cant wait to get started and get PAID.

Thanks for the support guys, really appretiate it.

Well done. I'd leave the mortgage though, even if they do offer it.
