I dont think I'm folding here unless I know the player very well.  I would fold on a Q high flop.

Really? This is a well-structured competition. About the worst possible holding he is min re-raising you with here is a pair/str8 draw combo where you are effectively flipping for it anyhow. He isnt folding.

It looks a lot like a set or AA.

It's a nasty position to be in on the flop but he doesn't have aces. I probably shove with no regrets.

Your preflop reraise is terrible though. There's already 750 in the pot and you only raise to 800 making it very profitable for the 3 players already in the pot to call you. Make it at least $1500.

I've seen QQ/JJ played like this as well, although AA is def possible I would need a good reason to fold.

if he's the slightest bit fishy i may come back over the top here. i've seen people play 99 or 55 like this! but due to the large buy-in i'm guessing someone is being abit cute with AA or correctly playing their set against what to be fair looks like an obvious overpair.

personally i think great pass, players dont min raise bluff in this spot imo, and if he has overpair less than KK i think he bets more.

My guess is set.

a table had just broken up, so have no info on the player. but how often do you see a early position min raise and its aa/kk/ak. not so often with qq/jj/1010. he min raised me on the flop so he wants me in and ive still got 5k if i pass. should go with your instinct right?
