Hannington Books

Hi guys, can anyone tell me the first Hannington book to buy? Ive read 3 poker books now but want to move up to an advanced level of book and have heard so much about the Hannington books, can anyone advice which current one and the cheapest site to buy them?

The 3 books by Dan Harrington are a series and together make up the complete package. Part one is the beginning of a tournament, part 2 is the endgame and headsup, part 3 is a book of poker situations - a quiz of sorts. I think that is right.

If you havent read it buy the Theory of Poker by David Sklansky - the only book you will ever need.

Amazon is a good place to get poker books from  and I think Blonde have a link

Harrinton isnt the be all and end all is the only bit of advice ill give you.  But volume 1 is a compulsory read. Read some more practical MTT advice, Vines and McEvoy How to win NLHE tournies is good. Steer clear of the TJ/McEvoy books which really are an excercise in weak tight poker, more suited to well structured comps.

The best advice is free on the 2+2 forums. Also the short-stacked theory post on Andy Wards Secrets of the amateurs blog is A grade material. Hope you do well.
Is way too limit orientated and a bit too tough for inexperienced students. My advice, save this until you have a deeper knowledge of the game.

 did anyone else like the Cloutier book , winning holdem tournaments ( or something like that )

 i read it the night before a league final and took it down , it is a bit backdated ( 70's i think ) so their style of play has changed , it was very tight mostly in they days , but the basics and strategy in the book were 2nd to none i felt. ( no pun )
