Two random quotes from yesterday at DTD.

I met a guy who I shall be spending some time with soon, By way of conversation, I enquired as to his line of work.

"I'm an honest timeshare salesman". There you go.

And Karabiner came out with a purler yesterday.

In a mid-Tourney break, in that "discuss your hands" convo that always goes off, with Red & myself. he excitedly & animatedly told of us a "re-steal" he'd pulled. A re-steal! Ralph The Rock, pulled a re-steal. Wow.

"What did you have Ralph?" we asked, agog.

"Aces" said Raph.

And then I opened this thread to take a quick sneaky look at what was what, & saw all this Banksy Avatar nonsense.

Blame Gatso for mine - he bullied me into it.

Both at a loss for what to do hanging around on the rail last night he said to me 'have you changed your avatar'.  Me: 'what, to a banksy one, no'.  Gatso: 'What?!?!?  We're having an avatar week.  You HAVE to change your avatar - do it now'.  He then marched me over to the computer terminals and sat watching me with his beady little eyes until I'd complied with his request.  I feel used and exploited.

Sounds like gatso is doing good work.

If I recall, this was something he was rumoured/did paint onto the wall dividing up the gaza strip. I like it.

Doesn't seem to support hotlinking to that image, not for me anyway.

Here are some more though:

His work on the Security Fence/Apartheid Wall was excellent.

I liked his honesty about the feelings of an old Palestinian he met: the old Palestinian man said his painting made the wall look beautiful. Banksy thanked him, only to be told: 'We don't want it to be beautiful, we hate this wall. Go home.'
