tikay, when are you going to sell that house that you never live in, buy a camper van and sod off and do your bucket list ??

Not trying to get rid of you or anything, it's just that I hope one day I am in a position to do just that ... don't waste the opportunity.

Kev's bucket list please?

Blimey, good shout.

How long do I get to write it up ?

And if every one else does theirs, we could add another 100 pages to the old mans diary Cheesy

Kev diary thread FTW imo

LOL ... I doubt anyone would want to read the ramblings of a grumpy unemployed middle aged madman !!

fyp

Palestine !

and after all this time, it looks like i was right...

The name "Palestine" is the cognate of an ancient word meaning "Philistines" or "Land of the Philistines"

Not buying that one Laz....

Eating a big breakfast is certainly the way to go - the only time I ever manage to do this is when I'm in Vegas and stuff myself in the morning. It means I just don't get hungry for the rest of the day.

That is actually what got me thinking Andrew,I was there in December and did as you do, eat loads in the morning andn then go right through the day until needing something else. Got me thinking this must be better than eating bits thru the day and then gorging before sitting about resting all night.

Tikay, you gotta love those Pot Noodles, Chicken and Mushroom per chance, keeps up the vegetable intake I suppose.

Today i breakfasted on 2 boiled eggs 2 slices of toast, two apples, 2 strong black coffee's and a tracker bar. Gone through until now just nibbling on some grapes and coffee without feeling too hungry. So I might keep trying the main meal first thing and see how it goes.

Tomorrow I might give curry, rice and naan bread a go

My mother, who was a very wise woman, used to quote the following proverb:

"BREAKFAST LIKE A KING, LUNCH LIKE A PRINCE, DINE LIKE A PAUPER".

So, typically, I will have a cup of coffee for breakfast, a snack at lunch and stuff myself stupid just before going to bed.
I often wonder why I'm in such bad shape, it really puzzles me.

Hi Novice,

Thats how we all do it but it really doesnt make any sense does it.

Serious question, though I doubt it will get serious answers.

A gentleman, unknown to me (I think) wrote to me today via e-Mail.

I've removed his name & some other stuff, but any idea to whom he could be referring?

"....I recently took a trip to las Vegas and met a man at the poker tables who told me he owned a poker school in England, I believe. I have tried to locte him since coming home and cannot find him anywhere. I do not know him by name but I was hoping that something might ring a bell and you could kindly point me in the right direction. he was Indian but had an English accent. quite flamboyant and likes to wear diamonds. if u have no clue, thank u anyways and sorry for wasting your time..."

No idea to whom he might be referring, but do you think that the term "poker school" might have got slightly blurred here ?

Not really being cynical here although I don't deny having the tendency.

The guy could have said "we have a poker school at home" meaning school as the collective noun for fish.

In a somewhat unrelated matter I went to visit my optician today and he says that I have a dodgy posterior.
