Sorry for ringing you yesterday mate when you are on your hols, I am still laughing now tho.

No worries Phil, always good to hear from you. Just quit with the Euriovision tips though, right? Even MANTIS had me over a barrel. The mind truly boggles at that thought.  

The Spag Bol was wicked.

Just off for a latte on the beach, then when I get back, LOTS of photos will be uploaded. Sorry......

I tried to use "Imageshack" (for uploading photos) last night, as Tom cannot see my photos when I use "Tinypic", but Imageschack did not work, it wanted me to downsize all the photos. I can't do that, I have scores of them.

Not sure what to try next. Tinypic - which has a HORRENDOUS homepage - nonetheless works for me.

Ideas, anyone?

Apparently, this is the problem.


Disabling 7K Jumbo frames fixes the problem - all tinypic.com urls are accessible with standard 1500 MTU!

Thanks for all the replies, but is anyone able to offer an explanation for this odd tinypic.com/jumbo frame behaviour?

I'll keep Jumbo Frames enabled as it gives me better performance with my NAS and this problem with tinypic.com is extremely isolated (and according to this article they're closing down anyway! smile

According to Countryfile news, owl numbers will decline this year because there are fewer breeding pairs.

There is also a crop facility and a one press quick fix button for your under / over exposed shots.

Will try a couple more in ImageShack, but I can't be doing with 4 minutes per photo, so unless it's a lot quicker, I'm done with it.

Why are they all so complicated? TinyPic works perfectly for me, if I can close my eyes to that horror of a HomePage, which is faintly less interesting & slightly more irritating than a page of bland C & P'd Hand Histories from 'Stars.

Judging by the green cursor/bar thing, if I go for a walk along the beach, get a haircut, grow a beard, & have a kip, they'll be almost ready by the time I return.

I assume you mean Picasa 3.9? Will try that. Send me the blonde log-in details please - though why do I need them, can I not just set up my own?
