Yes, been flooded with messages from home about it.

Apparently, there are 8,500 buses serving London. How extraordinary, and fascinating.

Will be the first thing I watch when I get home.

After all the reruns of the cash game

Dear God, no.

I stood table side for every hand, for three long days, money could not force me to watch it again, though that has nothing to do with those who played, all of whom were excellent. Other matters, away from the table, were such that I do not want ever to be reminded of them. Ugh.

Move on, next case.

One cock excepted I have a decent starting table in my little Omaha jobbie. (Anything up to 3 cocks is fine, 4 is greedy).

10,000 starting chips, beginning at 25-50. 133 runners so far. 30 minute clock. Level 2 is, rather oddly, 50-75, then it goes 50-100.

Several players playing it rather fast, as it is a re-entry. Not for me, but it may present an opportunity if someone wants to get fruity with spanners, such as top set, no back up.

Won my first three pots, flopped trips each time, on one occasion the other kid also had it, but I had the better kicker.  Actually both my kickers were the same, Aces.

First three levels safely negotiated, no drama, fuss or bother. Blinds now 75-150, and there are now 196 entrants.

Table went a bit silly in Level 3, folks looking to gamble, as they could re-enter, so I kept out of trouble, though would have been happy to go to war with the right material.

Think it will calm down now, and play more sensibly.

14,250 from 10,000.

Level 5, 100-200, just starting.

The re-entries are for SIX levels, so the harem scarem stuff will continue for two more levels presumably.

Lost a chunk last hand before the break, but it was inevitable.

Had....

A tad loose perhaps, but we are here to gamble I suppose.

It came Q high - like - all spades. Not so much.

After some sparring on the turn and river, I had to yield, and he showed me the nuts.

10,300 now.

Dan Owston (Oyston?) has around 50,000. He had good aces and a kid got it all in (9,200) pre-flop with 8-4-4-2. Dan gambled, and held.

Yikes.

Level 6 ended, after which no re-entries are permitted.

5 minutes before that, they announced that when the level ended, any player can surrender their stack and re enter, so it went a bit silly for a few hands.

Have got 13,000.

Was down to 7,000, but doubled up when I had 5-7-9 on a flop of 6-8-J and we got the lot in, happily in my case.

Don't seem to be getting many playable hands, but maybe I just have a lack of imagination. Folks seems to be turning up with some really eclectic holdings, or it looks that way to me.

263 runners according to P. Lasma.

Food recommenations in rio?

You are a well fussy eater, and I forget what is on your excluded list.

They have a seafood bar, a Deli (superb burgers), Dim Sum, a splendid buffet, and some cafeterias here and there. Oh, and two Starbucks.

Upped the aggro dial and ran my stack up to 17,000, then had an accident and got myself into a difficult spot and had to call off against an all-in and failed to hold.

Down to 9,700, which is twenty bigs, so crunch time looms, but this is not the WSOP $3k, so won't wimp out if an opportunity should present itself, whether or not it comes along smoking a pipe.

126 of 263 remain.

Fun tourney, nice structure, not sure if I have run bad with starting hands, or just lack gamble and imagination. Plodding ftw.

Oi oi, more than doubled up.

Raised with only my second 4 paint hand all tourney, get two callers.....

Flop was the drawtastic....

Even I don't mind gambling with that equipment. I potted, chap shoved on me, we are heads up, and I get there. He had flopped the bottom straight, and is still sat there muttering, over and over, "sick, sick, so so sick"....... Gonna buy him a Thesaurus for his birthday.

22,000, blinds now 300-600, there are 108 of 263 remaining.

Chance of a late night now.

Good value this, tremendously enjoyable.
