So Ralph, just to clarify, you were just set adrift in a strange land with $100 and no supervision?
Exactly so Tom.
Funnily enough when I arrived in Montreal there was a chocolate shop with signs advertising Mother's Day and I immediately bought a box of chocolates and had them shipped back to England with a little card, must have cost at least $15. I have often wondered how guilty she felt when they arrived.
Bloody Hell Ralph. The small details are often the most poignan.
Can we hgave the next instalment on my diary please?
Do what?
DO WHAT?
Outrageous.
Feel free to ask any pertinent questions about the story so far before I defect.

Did you watch Marvelous last night Tikay?
No, but I recorded it to watch this weekend.
Have you watched this yet? I've just seen it and I loved it.

The great & good of the entertainment industry turned out to watch Sting's new play on Broadway this week, here he is with the Boss.
Sting is looking really old now, strange to remember him in his "Police" days, before he disappeared up his own arse.
Bono, meanwhile, seems to have aged rather better.
I wish neither of them ill, but I do worry how the world would survive, without their moral compass, should either of them die. Guess we'll be OK, as both would consider themselves to be immortal.

George Eliot?
What has she got to do with Bono? Her real name was Mary Ann Evans and she was one of the few successful women of her day to write about things that weren't about swooning ladies in posh houses. After that, I'm struggling...

Crikey, that's a bit hard!
With nothing like the 100% confidence of "Brewery Silo", (so easy) I'll take a shot in the dark & go for Roy Sproson @ Vale Park.
