We'll be back to cover the fourth start day of the Main Event at 12pm (8pm UK time).  Originally planned as a break day, will the fourth starting day see yet another increase in numbers, or will 1C have seen it peak?  Back to the beginning for one more 6-level run...

Hi all, The Rock and The Wasp with a short note from Vegas. We are starting at 8pm Irish Time. The Rock was up at 7.15am getting ready and in confident form. The Wasp is still bleating on about being Claremorris No. 1. A little side bet I do think. Anyway all is well updates are hourly and no spectators allowed in the Pavillion. . The Wasp has just awoken from his slumber talking about being World No. 1 how much can I listen to.

Was good speaking to you yesterday Snoopy. Just after I left you I watched a few tables this hand being the most memorable.

Blinds $200/$400 ante $25

No action until hijack raises $1200
Button flat call $1200

SB and BB fold

Flop  two spades

hijack checks

Button raises $1200

hijack re- raises $6000

Chips then fly in...

Hijack flips

Button flips   ( no diamond notice - plus he was wearing cardrunner gear so possibly a sponsored player).

Turn =

OUcho

River blank

Watching the guy with trip jacks stare at the turn was a really gut wrenching moment. We've all been there but to bust out like this in the Main Event is enough to make you cry.

ps side note - went and watched Ivey, Brunson, Harman et all in Bobby's Room at the Bellagio. I always thought Bobbys Room was on the top floor of the Hotel didnt realise it was in the main card room. Watched Ivey win a few massive pots after earlier busting out of the Main Event.

He reckons theres a theres a better incentive for getting to the break than the normal supermacs muck we get in Hanleys!!
Maybe he thinks Blue Thunder are serving refreshments!

The final start (sounds odd) is about to kick off, and we've been blessed with an emal of the starters for today so unless they were last last minute entries, your requests will be searchable.  You could register right up until the last minute (in fact, as far as I know it's still open) and they were running a turbo satellite.  A $1k turbo - we're probably talking ten minute blinds.  Anyone know anyone who's got in via this route?

I hope all your friends get to the first break without bluffing off their entire stacks Wink

Within the first level I will probably be able to bring you the full number of runners in the Main Event this year - watch this space.  Hourly.#

P.S. I have located everyone except Keviin Williams, who is not on the provisional list for today - I will be needing a table number to provide updates - probably even on people I know...
