no rebuys paid out on blonde freeroll

hi just to let u all know in case people are wandering spoke to emma on online support and she stated that because we didnt generate 5000  of rebuys it is not added to freeroll.dont know if i was ignorent or whether other people didnt know either . thks to tikay and tonyg for a great structured tourney     pokerram

to be fair to tikay, he did say that he was very very busy this week, and that he wasnt to sure wheather or not the rebuys would be added, he said he was hopeful that they would.

I dont think tony G mentioned anything about the rebuys either.

However, i do believe that we were promised that if the tourney had produced 100+ runners, that it would become a $10,000 freerole. Yet this hasnt happened, this is the main issue that i am concerned about, i am just waiting for Tony G or anyone else that knows, to come on the board today, to offer clarification on this.

Tikay has posted about the 10,000 dollar aspect.  Blonde are doubling the cash and I believe winners should PM Tikay for the details.

As for the rebuy cash, I have just been blanked by Titan's online support about this.  I think it is a con by Titan if they keep the rebuy money as it turns the tournament into a guaranteed prizepool rather than a freeroll with rebuys.  I'm particularly concerned as I had two rebuys and would not have done this if I had known i was simply saving Titan money.  If they are keeping the rebuy money (over $2000) then they should at least be paying half to blondepoker.  Its certainly not a good way to go about retaining players.

I made two re-buys also,

I was under the impression it was adding to the prize pool

Had I known it was not, then I would have played this as a freezeout

If this money does not get added to the prize pool I will close my Titan account

I didn't cash by the way, but it is the principle IMO

i thought id let everyone know because i always thought rebuys was added as on pokerstars.mixed views on titon as it was a well structured tourney although some complained about the slider but seems to me titon was hoping we would pay for our own freeroll while they got 100 plus new members.I cant see many blondes staying with them or am i just IGNORENT  pokerram

It seems TonyG assumed that the rebuys would be paid out.  On an earlier thread he said "This look like it will be a masive event with re buys for 8 levels the prize pool will swell."

At least if the non-blondes cashed they will have a hard time claiming the second half of their prize from tikay

That sucks - there shouldn't be any reading between the lines when it comes to money - it should be clealy understood.

i for one thinks its terrible that Tikay is paying anything at all - why hould he - he works his nuts off for the forum - as far as I know gets little if any reward apart from hassle - more recently - and is expected to pay out £5k.

to attract people and also the problem that people thought
